After voting pro-demarketing, comes the first reaction from Donika Caday Buyup

Donika Kaday-Bujupi does not say he has only sacrificed for Kosovo citizens when voting for the passage of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro in the Kosovo Assembly. She says that behind her decision to vote the demarcation are two other reasons: The Bullics report and the deal between presidents. “Raporti [...]
“Bulqi report and the agreement reached, however, leave space for improving the 2015 Agreement”, Cadaj-Bujupi said in a written answer to Inseder, while explaining the reasons why he changed his stance on demarcation.
“Although I have been arrested dozens of times over the past three years, I have dozens of indictments, the basic needs of the people of Kosovo, and especially the possibility of improving the eventual errors of the new agreement legitimise this new possibility of resolving problems that are holding Kosovo” hostage for years, she has said.
Former Self-Deputate Vetevendosje Movement had for three years rejected the demarcation agreement with Montenegro, signed by former Foreign Affairs Minister Hashim Thaci and his Montenegrin counterpart, Srdjan Darnovolic, in 2015.
Even now, the AAK MP, over the past three years, had thrown tear gas in the Kosovo Assembly to reject this agreement. For this he had also been pronounced a sentence by the Pristina Constitutional Court.
But Caday-Bujupi says “sot is a new moment”, and according to her, it is no longer time to use tear gas.
In retrospect, we have seen gas then halt the harmful border demarcation agreement with Montenegro. Today, we are at a new moment”, Caday-Bujupi said. Kosovo today faces numerous and many basic problems”.
After three years of deadlock on the border issue with Montenegro, Kaday-Bujupi says the time has come for state institutions to focus on other issues; issues that directly affect citizens' lives.
“Now that it was ratified, however, we have room to continue dealing with topics that affect and have a direct effect on citizens' lives -- health, education and employment”, says Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP.
Following the adoption of the Agreement on the Border with Montenegro, Kadaj-Bujupi also commented on the priorities that bring possible visa liberalisation for Kosovo, which had the main demarcation criteria.
“Our students and athletes, even though in terms of quality and capacity, can compete with international ones, are penalised by participating in different events because of the isolation our country faces unfairly”, Cadaj-Bujupi said.
Kaday-Bujupi left the Vetevendosje Movement last week, following the presence of this party in two groups. A large part of the VV deputies gathered together in the Group of Independent Deputies, but she preferred to return to the party where she had spent most of her political career.
