The republic's “President Hashim Thaci has decorated a large number of personalities with the case of the 10th anniversary of Kosovo Independence, even people and institutions that have been against the state, while not even the Kosovo Liberation Army's War Veterans Organisation”, it is said in the reaction of the KLA's OVL.

“Such behavior shows the inconsistencies of our state institutions and of the people who are in charge of them, who seem to have no business with proper responsibility and seriousness”.

With such leaders, who are rulings, not statesmen, Kosovo is marking the construction of its citizenship”, it says in response.

Otherwise, after publishing the list of institutions, organisations, associations and personalities decorated by Kosovo's president, for the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, in a sign of much discontent, many refused the presidential medal.
