Facing the worst cases followed by government bombings, thousands of civilians were forced to abandon the city of Hamouriyaah, which has been at the centre of fighting between rebels and government forces.
Syria's Human Rights Observatory (SOHR) has reported that 41 civilians, including six children, were killed as a result of air strikes in Kafr Batna County on Friday morning.
As the attacks continue, more than 2,000 people are estimated to have left the area held by rebels east of Damascus during the evening and Friday morning.
By robbing what they could carry and loading it into their vehicles, desperate civilians fled their homes, fleeing to areas controlled by the government, reports “Al Jazeera”, Periscope broadcast.

Having been controlled by the rebels, Hamouriyah is now under governmental siege.
There's no water there, there's no medical medicine that could be offered to children, and there's no food,” said an evacuated.
The SOHR said about 20,000 people have fled their homes, where some of them are waiting to be transported to safe areas.
After almost four weeks of terrible bombings, in which more than 1, 250 civilians have been killed including dead children, government forces are offering to capture the enclave, forcing civilians to flee. The regime forces have already divided the enclave, under siege since 2013, into three sections.
However, the rebels claim to have recovered Hamouriyaah, a district in eastern Gutan./Periscopi/
