Rel: President Thaci, can you tell us where you are right now?
Hashim Thaci: Within the preparation for continuing dialogue with Serbia, which is going to happen tomorrow ( Friday), I am in Washington to co-ordinate activities with the United States of America, as we are going to enter a new, important and full-fledged phase should be well co-ordinated and, of course, clear for today, but also for the future. So it will be a process that will open the period of final achievement of the agreement for the full normalisation of relations between the state of Kosovo and Serbia. Of course, this issue is sensitive and requires co-ordination with all partners and friends, but the main address for Kosovo remains Washington.
Rel: Who are you meeting in Washington?
Hashim Thaci: I'm going to continue my meetings today with Wes Mitchell, with whom I'm going to discuss the currentity we have today, but also the following steps.
Rel: What can be expected of you from this meeting with Wes Mitchell. Do you have any requests regarding continuing dialogue in Brussels?
Hashim Thaci: It is not a question of demand, it is a must that is laid down by all international actors because the state of Kosovo needs to consolidate itself on the domestic and international plains. It needs more recognition, but at the same time, what we need is the good neighbourly between Kosovo and Serbia -- a European report that will result in mutual recognition, peace and stability in the region. Of course, a European future, to be part of NATO and the European Union.
