Thaci for Haradinaj: No one can escape responsibility by saying he was informed.

He has said he received a report from AKI after the arrest, and citing that report, has said that <x0DPs carried out illegal and dangerous activity in Kosovo”. On the other hand, it has accused the country's institutions of defending the fundamental principle of human rights in the case of the arrest and deportation of six “gylenists”.

Thaci, has said that spying and terrorism techniques are very sophisticated, without giving more details about what he's talking about.

It sounded like it was for the country's prime minister, when he said that “nobody could escape responsibility by saying he wasn't informed”.

What I want to state from the start is that the situation in Kosovo is calm. We've taken appropriate measures so that even this holiday can pass without incident”, there were the first sentences he started the conference with.

For Thaci, Kosovo is a democratic state, built in the highest harmonies of democratic values, which above all respect each of its individual rights indiscriminately.

This principle is embedded in the Constitution. As president of Kosovo I am disappointed that the country's institutions have failed to defend these principles in the case of arrest”, Thaci has said.

“I am informed and still receiving additional clarifications regarding the case and circumstances in which the arrest and deportation of six Turkish citizens has been carried out. In the presence of international partners, we have accepted a report from AKI that detailedly explains why their arrest was required. According to this report, their arrest and deportation concern their illegal and dangerous activity in Kosovo. They have endangered national security. According to AKI, there were cases like this in the past”, he said.

He has said details and procedures should be clarified to the end by AKI and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It has hinted that it has not been done well with the dismissal of two officials, Flamur Sefaj former MPB minister and Driton Gashi, former director of AKI.

Until these investigations end, we should be careful how we deal with institutions that guarantee security in the country. The activities of spying and terrorism become in the most sophisticated form”, Thaci said.

Thaci has invited the AKI Parliamentary Commission to investigate this case until the end.
