Failure to implement an agreement signed last year by the United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK) has prompted this union to call a day-long education strike Monday.
According to the Union, the strike will be held in elementary and high schools, as well as in 5 public universities that are part of the SBASK, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
This is the third time within a few weeks that at the request of this trade union in educational institutions, strikes are held. Initially, on February 14 was a one - hour strike, and on February 20, a two - hour strike.
The SBASK has threatened that if after the one-day strike the Government does not reflect on their demands, 13 April will be put on a general strike.
The union is seeking the realisation of the agreement, which they signed last year with the PDK-AAK-Nisma coalition. The key point of this agreement whose implementation the Union is seeking is the adoption of the 90s Teaching Bill. However, the government for 2018 has no budget for this bill
