The flood risk is huge in the areas of Prokuplje, Zitorya and Doljevac, in southern Serbia, not far from the border with Macedonia and Kosovo”, says the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs's case communique, accompanying Atsch.
Authorities were urged to declare the state of emergency also because of weather forecasts that, according to the synoptians, will still result in the melting of large quantities of snow as well as the continuation of rivers.
