The director of the Education Directorate in Pristina municipality, Jonuz Saliha, talking about the education-organised strike by the United Education, Science and Culture Union ( The SBASK), has stressed that Kosovo does not have the luxury of further losing its education system.
Salij on the <x0->Debat D Plus” show, RTV Dukaagjini, has said that the degradation of the education system will deepen even more with the deprivation of children from learning, which is happening in recent days.
We're leaving children without learning, because former government officials were underachievers and that they didn't commit a commitment to them”, Saliha added.
According to him, Prime Minister Haradinaj and Education Minister Shyqi Bytyqi are interested in meeting the SBASK's request for recognising the pension of teachers who have worked during the 90s.
“In time of the Haradinaj campaign has signed a memorandum with the union, and it will fulfill that obligation. On the other hand, Minister Bytyqi is also interested in bringing the matter forward”, Saliaj stressed.
