Cannot rule out secret voting opportunity for demarcation

Kosovo's Assembly today from 4:00 p.m. will begin the session for ratification of the demarcation, which for approval requires at least 80 votes, while at today's session, the possibility of a secret vote required for the deal is not ruled out. Although so far, such a practice in the Kosovo Assembly has not been, in which voting of bills and international agreements has been voted by an open vote, procedurally, according to UN regulations connoisseurs, that could happen if MPs vote for such a way of voting.
Even earlier, there has been an opportunity for demarcation with Montenegro to be voted in secret.
But, according to Artan Murati from the Kosovo Democratic Institute, this institute, which monitors the work of the Parliament at today's session, could happen to call for a secret vote.
He for news.net has said that under circumstances created for the border agreement with Montenegro, many MPs have been reluctant to vote.
According to him, the secret vote for demarcation may be required to avoid tendencies to be called hero and someone else treacherous.
“Even considering the specifics of the state of the demarcation agreement cannot be rejected even the possibility that MPs seek a secret vote, much more if taken into account how divided public opinion is on this issue and the tendency to make a hero to someone, or calling someone else”, it is expressed to news.net.
The Kosovo Assembly today will attempt to ratify the August 26th 2015 agreement for marking the border line with Montenegro, while failing to do so in the past three sessions.
Government Coalition Officials P The DK, AAK-Nisma and AKR, have expressed confidence that the demarcation passes today.
Kosovo for nearly three years is facing demarcation, whose ratification is one of the European Union's conditions for visa removal.
And for Artan Mqira, if the way of the secret demarcation vote were applied would be passed in the past, when the AAK and the Initiative rejected this agreement.
“I am convinced that many MPs would have voted much earlier whether it would be a closed vote, because a situation has been created that MPs are reluctant to vote on even because of public opinion that had earlier been very controversial to the” agreement, Murati has indicated.
The agreement on demarcation continues to oppose the Vetevendosje Movement, as well as deputies of the Independent Group of Deputies removed from Vetevendosje.
Even the Serbian List has so far voiced itself against voting this agreement.
