Russia will soon oust British diplomats from its territory, Russian diplomacy chief Sergei Lavrov has warned today, in response to Britain's decision to expel 23 Russian diplomats.
Britain made that decision after Moscow refused to explain how a Russian-made nervous gas occurred was used for the attack against former Russian agent Sergei Scripal and his daughter at Solsberi.
Moscow has denied involvement in the attack, while Lavrov described the allegations of Britain's prime minister, Thereza May as insane. Asked by journalists when the expulsion of British diplomats will happen, Lavrov said it would happen very soon, and added that London's accusations are irresponsible and are not supporting testimony, writes Rtv21.tv.tv.
He further stressed that London's approach to this issue is partly the result of the problems facing the British government because of the Coast. On the other hand, Britain's Foreign Minister Boris Johnson harshened the language of words today, saying the attack against Scripal is Russia's way of telling people that this will happen to you if you oppose the regime in Moscow.
This is the moment for President Vladimir Putin to send the order to people: If you do that, you will die”, Johnson said. On Wednesday, the White House also solidified Britain and supported London's decision to expel Russian diplomats. A spokeswoman for President Donald Trump accused Russia of undermining the security of states worldwide.
