The Catalonian National and Radical left CUP parties have called on their supporters to get out on the street and support Puigdemont.
The former head of the Catalonia Parliament was arrested today by German police near the Denmark border, according to an international warrant issued by Spain.
German police reported that the arrest had taken place, as Puigdemont would leave Germany towards Denmark.
