The political force that came first in this election in Italy is “The 5th Stars” run by Louis di Maio, a 32-year-old with a common lifeline, but with an unusual political future.

He has declared he wants to run Italy.

Today, the Third Republic has started and will be a Republic of Citizens”, said Di Maio, stressing that the 5 Stars' movement “is an absolute winner.

While noting that he will talk to all allies for a government run by “5 Stars' movement”

But President Mattarella will enter the game.

The latter will decide which party, the North League Movement of 5 Stars”, will have the right to form the new government.

But who's Di Maio?

Louis Di Maio was born in Avellino on July 6, 1986.

He's a young Italian politician, Movement MP 5 Stars and holds the post of vice president of the Chamber of Deputies. He's the eldest of three brothers. <

His mother is a teacher of Italian and Latin, and his father is an entrepreneur in the construction field, once activated by Neofashist forces.

After his degree in classical licence, he enrolled in a university where he first chose IT engineering, which he would then abandon for the lawyer.

Since 2007, he worked as a journalist and publicist. In 2012 it was debuted in cinema with the documentary “Marketia” denouncing the situation of small businessmen.

He worked a little while as a waiter and assistant at the stadium to follow up as a Webmaster and finally running for “Movement 5 Stars” led by Beppe Grillo.

He's single, he likes cars (there's a Mini Cooper vintage) and he thinks of himself as not charismatic and bad in football. As a boy, his desire was to become a police officer.

Political life

Luigi Di Maio is considered an institutional pragmatist

From 2007 it is part of the 5th Star Movement. In 2010 he runs as a municipal adviser unless he wins.

He is elected in 2013 as an MP for this political force and is immediately then mandated as deputy speaker of Parliament, being the youngest in Italy's history (26 years), which holds such a task.

In a short time, it becomes one of the most popular faces of the Movement and manages to become a member of its leadership.

In September 2017, it ran in preliminary elections for political leader of Movement 5 Stars where voting from electronic platforms makes it the winner of 82 million votes.

“Five Stars Movement”

“Five Stars Movement”, a left-oriented party formed as protest party nine years ago by comedian Beppe Grillo and currently headed by Louis di Maio.

This movement rises against the old political elite and promises a social policy

It is sceptical of the EU and critical of refugee accession to Italy.

According to Luigi di Maio, other countries in Europe must discern that the real danger comes from Le Pen and the Alternative for Germany. (DITA)
