Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj says visa liberalisation for Kosovo has occurred with ratification of the demarcation with Montenegro.
In an interview for the argument Plus show on TV21, Haradinaj predicted that the final decision on visa liberalisation would be made further in 9 months.
“Liberization occurred during the day... the rest of the jobs will be done but the night has occurred. I'm sorry it went as far as it went, liberalisation happened, we know why I'm saying this. There's a process ahead of us in order and law, fighting crime and corruption. It is a process of work, but liberalisation has taken place pardje”, he said.
According to Haradinaj, it is the citizen of Kosovo who has emerged victorious from Wednesday's vote in the assembly, where it ratified the agreement on demarcation.
“Liberisation has won Kosovo's citizen, there are some options that should be done too, and we should continue to supply EU institutions, ministers separately. The minimum time Kosovo could get the right to move freely is 3 months, minimal, but it's not so cool, real time is 6 months, but it can go the maximum 9 months. But liberalisation has now taken place is implementation, implementation that we must do together”, he added.
Full interview with Mr. Haradinaj is broadcast tonight at RTV21 at 21.30.
