President Thaci from Brussels shows when visas will be removed

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is convinced that Kosovars will move without visas this year.

Says that with ratification of the demarcation, Kosovo has met the conditions for free movement.

“It is the European Union's turn to quickly complete the necessary procedures for visa liberalisation to take place”, Thaci said.

I freely say that visa liberalisation for Kosovo will occur within this year. It could happen in early autumn.”, Thaci told Kosovo public television.

Thaci made comments after meeting with European Commissioner for Neighborship and Enlargement Johannes Hahn.

Thaci has earlier held meetings with the EU high representative in Brussels before launching the joint meeting with Vucic.
