The Office for Public Information under the Regional Police Directorate in Mitrovica, with the aim of providing fair information of public opinion, has clarified the circumstances of arresting seven persons in quality of suspects for breaking order and public calm.
Today, on March 3, 2018, at 15:45, police in Mitrovica have accepted information that a group of about 20 people were writing various inscriptions on the Public University building “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica.
Police units have responded to the case and have walked out to the scene, with cases being seized by two spray-coloured cones, seven people have been arrested, and one suspect has shown aggressive behavior, and police are consistent with principles and procedures to bring the situation under control has used the tear spray, which the person has immediately been offered to medical treatment.
