Swiss police from the Cyril Canton have taken action aimed at combating theft crime, and on this occasion arrested 127 people, among whom individuals from Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Georgia, France, Colombia, Mongolia, Poland, Romania and Syria.
Police undertook various targeted raids and subsequently arrested 24 suspected thieves.
“24 suspected thieves have been arrested; 21 of them have been sent to competent public prosecutor offices. 55 people have been arrested for violations of the law against foreigners or were involved in narcotics or because their identity has had to be clarified. Of the 52 tested checks have resulted in 180 trial processes”, the Swiss police of the Cyril Canton have said, reports Koha.net.
The event has lasted from October last year until the end of February, and over this period a series of shares have been undertaken in the canton, as well as car controls.
Stocks to combat theft crime are aimed at preventing home and apartments from breaking.
