The achievement of the political agreement between the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Christian Democrat Party (CDU), for forming the new government and which ended the political stalemate of nearly six months is of particular importance not only for political stability in the German state, that of the EU, Southeast Europe, but also for the state and Kosovo citizens.
So has Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli.
Kosovo has had excellent and comprehensive co-operation with the German state in all areas and we expect, to increase and further strengthen the foundations of this co-operation with the new Government. The German role and contribution, not only in Kosovo's state-building and integration process in the international community, but in all countries of Southeast Europe has been irreplaceable to political stability, security, integration, economic development and reconciliation process, for which we are grateful”, the MPJ has been followed.
Pacolli has said that Kosovo views Germany as a friendly state, ally and partner, and in that spirit we will continue co-operation even in the future.
“I believe, that I will have a quick visit to Germany to give additional impetus and new synergy to this” partnership, Kosovo top diplomat Pacolli has indicated.
A powerful bridge in relations between our two countries certainly remains even our diaspora, which is well integrated and very active in public and institutional life”, he said.
