The Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) through a conference presented an assessment about the completion of the sixth Kosovo Assembly legislature.
Artan Murati from KDI has stressed that the absence of deputies in the plenary hearings, but even at parliamentary commission meetings is one of the biggest problems recorded in the work of the sixth legislature.
Also in many cases has failed to vote on bills or other pre-law cases on the agenda in the assembly's work, due to lack of quorum.
According to him, this issue can be adjusted through the new Parliament's Labour Rule, where it can be predicted that the MP, who does not participate in the vote but is present at the session, is automatically counted as abstention.
From this institution also has been called on to vote on the draft law on the refining of the agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro, which <x0-deputates to end the sag that is keeping institutional life blocked, but is also denying Kosovo citizens' right to free movement”.
