In a series of tuber publications addressed to the American president, Musk is “Against import obligations in general, but current rules make things very difficult. It's like racing in an Olympic race dressed in lead shoes. ”

Tesla has made great efforts to build cars in China, like the largest automotive market in the world, but has hit barricades in negotiations with local authorities, in part because Musk is keen to maintain full control of any local enterprise.

No American company is allowed to own even 50 percent of their factory in China, but there are five companies that have 100 percent owned by China's US electric cars,” he wrote.

Trump cited one of Musk's status in his announcement of new tariffs and American automotive producers that have not been dealt with fairly by trade regulations worldwide.

He announced steep tariffs Monday for import of steel and aluminum, reports “Reuters”, Periscopi broadcast.

Politicians “have known this for years and have done nothing. It's time to change. ” said Trump, adding that he plans to impose a “reciprocal tranche” in other countries. “We just want justice. ”

Tesla has sought to build a factory in Shanghai's Chinese capital capital capital, and in last November, Musk hoped this would begin production over three years.

However, Tesla and Chinese authorities have not reached an agreement yet./Periscopi/
