The Parliamentary Commission for Buzhet and Finance today has recommended that wages be reduced by 25 per cent for senior officials in the Pension Savings Trust.
The recommendations are said to have these officials' salaries at the level of Kosovo Central Bank management salaries.
Currently the highest salary in the Trust is 4980 euros, of the manager, while the highest salary in the CEC is of Governor 4120 euros.
This Commission Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has said that salaries in the Trust are disproportional with other salaries.
However, he said high wages still remain in the CEC, but since he is overseer of the BEC Trust, let these salaries be equally in the Trust.
Naser Osmani, a member of the Commission, said that the recommendation of the processing group is to reduce by 25 per cent for all top positions in the Trust and remove additional additions and bonuses for their meetings. While Trust Manager Adrian Zalli's salary with additions and bonus amounts to between 5 and 6 thousand euros a month.
