No more than 30 diplomatic passports are included in this figure that the Government of Kosovo has made a decision to hand to family members of the three senior state officials.
The Kosovo government on February 20th has made the decision that Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's family, the family of Prime Minister Kadri Veselin and President Hashim Thaci will be equipped with diplomatic passports. As the decision was fulfilled the day before, more than 20 people from the prime minister's cabinet have been added, writes Gazeta “Voice”.
The decision to issue passports even for members of state leaders have not received local analysts well.
Analysts of international and political affairs consider that such a decision should not have been made.
According to them, the government has placed its interests, not citizens', as priorities.
While connoisseurs of constitutional issues say endangered social categories should be the priority.
