Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has commented on recent developments that took place in Kosovo. Limaj has said that the deportation of Turkish citizens has well covered the serious shortcomings of the country's specific segments. Limaj has said that the initiative in the Parliament and Government will be engaged in this direction and will go on to the end.
The number two of Kosovo's government has ordered the Turkish president that no one can threaten Kosovo except its citizens.
Kosovo is an independent state and sovereign and duty is to protect our country. We respect and honor the friendship displayed by friendly decisions. We are committed to maintaining this friendship, but this does not mean that we will be the parent of a state in Kosovo. My message is that no one and nothing can threaten Kosovo's prime minister except the people. No state and no leader can lead us who should rule in Kosovo”, Limaj said during a party rally in Prizren.
Limaj has said Turkey's president must have made it clear that Kosovo does not exchange friendship with vasality.
“We have felt offended and the highest value of the Albanian people is hospitality. Kosovo never has a pledge and has handed over people as it happened days ago, and this is not the work of Kosovo citizens, but suspected of suspicious agendas. What happened two days ago that there are segments that must be released from suspicious unknowns that are not in the service of the country. What happened several days ago will not only end downloads. We will not stop, but we will investigate to the end and with no time in Kosovo dare such actions happen. These actions do not represent Kosovo's interest, but of individuals appointed”, Limaj added
He has said that this should serve as a lesson for the leaders of the security segments to be careful, because they are to serve the country and work in line with the law, not the toy serve unknown agendas.
“These will have no place in Kosovo institutions. Such elements no one can protect even those who commit to individual agenda”, Limaj stressed.
