The Vetevendosje movement has managed to become the largest party in the country, presenting itself as the only alternative that could bring changes, unlike all other political subjects that had been proven to power. The idea has been hit by this party itself, following the breaks it has now experienced, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

The problems at LVV were older than a year. But they were kept secret from the public and were not manifested outside, on two sides organised elections in 2017. The national ones doubled the vote on this subject and made it mostly deputies in the Assembly. The locals also secured power in Prizren and Kamenica, along with Pristina, which was due to its preliminary mandate. They also added power to municipal assemblies throughout Kosovo.

But, immediately after the local elections, and on the eve of the inner parties, problems drove them out. The explosion occurred after a question that Aida Drdguti had laid out in an electronic communication group that had access to all LVV deputies.

Dardan Molliqaj had given the message there that Donika Kadane had been arrested, while the Dorgi question had this content: “and that shit? The insulting expression in the sentence meant Albin Kurtin, the founder and most voted man of LVV, who had been arrested the same day. She had apologized for the language, but that had added to her the fact that her reaction was “behind some of the problems of deep political and organisational differences” that had emerged for a year in the organisation.
