LDK response also comes after Marko Djuric's arrest

LDK communication:

The Democratic League of Kosovo has closely followed today's events in the country's north.

The LDK, as always, praises the professionalism shown by the Kosovo Police and gives full support to all security institutions in exercising state sovereignty throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

At the same time, the LDK condemns the government's continued provocations, and invites the international community to use influence to prevent such provocations that jeopardise stability in the region.

The LDK requires that such events not be used for political purposes by anyone. The LDK expresses confidence that the actions of Kosovo institutions are supported by our international partners.

As the country's largest political party, the LDK will be determined not to allow anyone to overcome Kosovo's citizenship and will seek institutional responsibility from all institutions mandated under the Constitution to protect the order, citizens' security and state sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo.
