Kurteshi shows whom Shpend Ahmeti will replace

The Vetevendosje movement will emerge more powerful than ever, and the displaced will be replaced by an extremely good framework, while people who were confused by the events within the movement are returning to their VV faith. So said in an interview for KosovaPress, the organising secretary of the Vetevendosje Movement, Ismail Kurteshi, under which the dissatisfied who left the movement have symbolic support from citizens.

The resignation of Shpend Ahmeti is in the wake of those who are calling themselves dissatisfied. There is an exit in the VV, but there is no division because despite the fact that the number of deputies and those who have received VV votes and have now turned their backs on it is not so small. The number of their supporters is symbolic. The VV movement is functioning normally, doing all the planned tasks that we've already regretted, but now they have their own political path, we have our own. We as a movement have had exits that are public, but we have access that are extremely large and support from all sides that proves that the VV Movement in the near future means in the first elections to come, will prove that it will be and more powerful than it has turned out in the last parliamentary elections. All these exits will not influence the great support of Kosovo citizens for the VV, who see the movement as the only hope of changing the situation in which Kosovo” is in, he said.

Kurteshi says Shpend's name grew with the Vetevendosje Movement and that it will now be replaced with an extremely good framework such as Arben Vitita, who will lead the Vetevendosje branch in Pristina.

Shpend's name has increased with movement. You know that before the Shpend movement with his previous party, he has arrived at the Parliament, with the movement increasing his support, and now the Shpend will be replaced by an extremely good framework. As head we have appointed a person who will start leading Pristina temporarily. And when it is put in the vote, he may be the next president of Pristina's VV Movement, which is a very acceptable personality for the citizens of Pristina. It is one of the most successful directors ever to have had a Kosovo municipality, is Arben Vitita, who is an example of how a director, such as the Health Directorate, is a man who is acceptable to all citizens of Pristina. He could be, because now he's running the mall. Because the mayor has resigned, and we as head, have the statute's right to appoint someone who leads to the elections. The election for head of the centre in Pristina will be held within the next 2.3 months. The head of the centre has been Yll Hoxha, who has resigned very early, who has had nothing to do with this group but now the centre has been left without chairman and will have elections for VV chairman in Pristina”, he says.

According to him, what will happen to Shpend Ahmeti and what will be the requests of the VV, the party's General Council decides.

Kurteshi says even confused citizens are returning to their VV faith.

“Of course, the citizens were once not properly informed, it was a distraction, but now when they realized that the cause of the exits was all because of the search of VV, of those who skee once had supported membership, the demands were against the statute and absolutely unreasonable, as is the condition with the candidacy of Albin Kurt for chairmanship, citizens have realized that the movement has been in the right positions, that the conditions have been groundless, against the statute, therefore this is making citizens return to the VVV, even to those citizens who have been confused for the moment he said,<

It calls them unfair and the charge at Albin Kurt's address of dictatorship. He points out that some of the disgruntled ones who accuse him of dictatorship have been close associates of Kurt, who until several months ago have spoken well of him.

Now when they haven't carried out their projects, they're starting to say the opposite, but the truth is that in VV there's democracy, everyone's right is allowed to say their own way about all decisions vote on organs, and nobody in motion can say the last word. The last word is said by members of a body that votes, whether the leadership of the movement, whether the general council or any head of the centre, depending on what vote is”, he said.

And the only contact with the unhappy, according to him, is just random encounters in the corridors of the Parliament, and that's how they end up having contact with each other.

When we meet by chance in the corridors of the convent, we tell each other good afternoon. But that's where the contacts” end, he said.
