The Sheriff, through a Facebook text, has compared this situation in which the six members of the organisation “Gulistan” to the situation Ramush Haradinaj faced when his extradition from France to Serbia was required.
According to the Initiative deputy, sixgylenists risk being treated in the most inhumane way possible in Turkey.
Recall the trauma Ramush Haradinaj's arrest in Komar, France, at a request to extradite to Serbia. Thanks to a comprehensive mobilization of Albanians, the possibility of Mr. Haradinaj being kidnapped and finished in Belgrade the same way that six Turkish citizens were kidnapped and delivered to Ankara's power”, the Sheriff said.
The “we did for Ramush Haradinaj did not do it for people, who are unfortunately less known than Mr. Haradinaj, but who are in danger of experiencing the most inhuman approach possible”, he said.
The Sheriff has mentioned that, according to international organisations for the protection of human freedoms and rights, Turkey is one of the countries that violates these freedoms mostly.
He has said arresting gylenists is a crime of the Government of Kosovo.
