Kosovo- Albania without customs only when both countries are EU members

European Union Delegation chief in Albania, Mrs. Romana V Godin has depreciated statements by politicians and senior officials in Albania and Kosovo for a customs-free border between the two countries, Koha Ditore writes today.

Ambassador V Godin has made it clear Friday, from the border crossing point of Morin, to the Albanian-Kosovo border, where it was for inspection of the work's performance for the joint customs, that Albania and Kosovo will be without customs only when they are EU members.

On this visit, Morin's border crossing point was accompanied by Albanian Customs General Director Belinda Ikonomi, Kosovo Customs General Director Bahri Berisha, as well as senior Border Police officials from both countries.
