Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has appeared before the families of Turkish citizens who were arrested and deported to Turkey on Thursday.
Family members of the detainees have arrived in front of the Government building at noon Thursday to seek clarification for those arrested.
In support of these family members, there was also a group of schoolchildren who belong to educational institutions“Gulistan”.
Haradinaj said that the arrest of their family has been a surprise, but that such surprises will result no more.
He guaranteed to the family of Turkish deportees that every request they made will be considered.
Those colleagues you had an appointment with yesterday have been more or less explained to you. Now we've made decisions today that no other decision can be surprising to anyone. That means there will be no more surprise, it has been a surprise, but there will be no more... and I thank you, and I wish it could be solved properly. You as a family here every request of yours we will consider”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.
The family members, however, asked Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to ensure that in Kosovo they can live without fear.
Yusuf Karabina's wife, Jasemin Karabina, expressed concern that with lawyers who committed them to Turkey they cannot contact.
Karabina has asked Kosovo institutions to provide concrete evidence proving that their relatives have been deported to Turkey.
This morning we have seen some videos, under which it is claimed that our mates were sent, are deported by Kosovo. We've requested video recordings and what has been proven by video recordings, we believe them and can prove that they entered Pristina airport. Our lawyers who we hired in Turkey, we haven't been able to contact them in two days, we're not allowed to meet them, and we don't have any official information they're in Turkey, nor can lawyers provide such evidence. Even from the prime minister and other domestic organs, we expect concrete evidence to be provided with which we can see with our own eyes, to hear with our ears that they have really penetrated from Pristina Airport and are found in Turkey”, Karabina said.
By contrast, since last night the families of the six Turkish prisoners have been arrested and infiltrated for Turkey, have stayed at Pristina Airport” Adem Jashari”, believing that their loved ones were there.
Today, however, images around the media have circulated around the media showing Turkish detainees being tested through raids until they are seen on a plane.
