The Serb list had a key role in forming the Haradinaj government, providing the votes needed for its transition to the assembly. It was talked about possible benefits that the ruling coalition members Wessel, Haradinaj, Limaj and Pacolli had done, but nothing concrete was mentioned.
The Serb list, however, was replaced by the LDK for the transition of demarcation to the Assembly last week. MP Ilir Deda, asked the prime minister to be harsher with them, while the prime minister himself took on more with opposition MPs, writes Periscopi.
It seemed that the Serb List had asked for additional favors to vote the demarcation, while this did not matter to the Serb community in Kosovo. This constitutional policy has so far been accepted by Kosovo governments. Even from Haradinaj, who dealt harshly with opposition deputies, harsh with the former prime ministers, with journalists, but not with the List in question.
The Serb List had also withdrawn ministers from the Mustafa Government in the past. Yet, that government was saved. The LDK-PDK coalition was much larger than the current coalition that positioned Haradinaj in the role of prime minister.
The prime minister himself has not spoken a word of Mr. Djuric, and even this suggests that it is about his fears that the prime minister's position is at stake.
If the Serb List does not comply, then the country will go to new elections, which will produce new opportunities for the party that openly receives direction from Serbian President Vuciq for further conditions.
But if he returns, then Marko Djuric's arrest in the north could be interpreted as a next defeat for Kosovo, since CHArpska will seek further favors.
