Large projects in the energy, gas sector and the extraction industry and financial services are continuing to inject increased foreign investments into the Albanian economy.
According to data from the Bank of Albania, direct foreign investments in 2017 reached the value of 970m euros, with an increase of about 3.6% more compared to 2016.
The flight of foreign investments in the third quarter of last year has been revised in growth by the Bank of Albania, while the advantage of projects that are starting this year in infrastructure (national roads, airports, railway and port) is expected to consolidate sustainable investment growth in the economy.
Advancing energy projects, such as TAP or HEC in the Devalle helmet and entering the new investment cycle, “ractifies” trends that the Albanian economy will manage to absorb comparable figures of foreign investment for the coming years.
After 2013, high foreign investment assets have been among the main contributors to economic growth in Albania, the BSH quoted.
While another important source of income for the economy is the remittances that are still expanding the currency flows to our country today.
For the fourth quarter, migrants brought 172m euros to the Albanian economy.
