Six Turkish citizens arrested during yesterday are being kept stuck at Pristina Airport and have not been deported to Turkey. That's what their family members are saying. One of them, who didn't want to mention the name, has shown that he saw three of those arrested today at the Airport.
The “Turks arrested by police have not been deported by Kosovo. They are staying stuck at Pristina Airport and at Turkey's Embassy. I saw three of them today at an airport office. Today they've gone to medical teams to check”, one of the families of the arrested has told Express.
He has shown further that the American Embassy has also told them that Turks have not left Kosovo.
This family member says the Turkish Embassy and Pristina Airport are giving them no information.
“We and the American Embassy have been told that they have not left Kosovo. But the Turkish Embassy and Airport are giving us no information. They're calling us terrorists and ignoring us”.
Those arrested have been identified as Cihan ʼazkan, Kahraman Demirez, Hasan Hüseyin Günakan, Mustafa Erdem, Osman Karakaya and Yusuf Karabina.
The Gylenist Movement operates with schools in 160 countries from Afghanistan to the US.
In recent weeks Kosovo has been pressured by Turkey to take action against these schools founded by the Gylenist Movement.
Turkey accuses Gyleni, the Muslim leader living in the US of orchestrating the July 15th of 2016 coup and has declared his move as a terrorist .
