The party's 6+ MP has commented today on the arrest of the head of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djuric.

She has stressed that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and the authorities there have praised Djuric's arrest as the madness of Kosovo authorities, made with the help of internationals, broadcast Indesksonline.

I think there is unnecessary increase in gossip about this issue. Djuric entered Kosovo unauthorizedly, there was no permission. Kosovo is a democratic and free state, but if it wanted to come, it would have to have permission”, Balje said.

According to her, any independent state that respects itself and its territorial integrity would act absolutely in the same way as Kosovo.

Serbian officials should essentially ask for permission. So far we have been very tolerant with all those who wanted to visit Kosovo. As for Djuriqi, Kosovo has had the impression that he hates people here, and that is the only reason he should not visit the country”, Balje has said further.

It has estimated that any reaction from Serbia will largely have a negative impact on Serbs living in Kosovo.

“People are now afraid and not sufficiently informed. All Serbian politicians would have to worry a little bit more about Serbs in Kosovo”, Balje has said, adding that if Serbia shows respect for Kosovo, these things will never happen again.
