University of Pristina professor Frasher Demaj, on the Click show at RTV 21, stated that Kosovo's expulsion from ECAR is very unpleasant, and that we will suffer for a while, but it has to be a union of forces in order to restore Kosovo's Agency of Discension to where it was, writes Rtv21.tv.tv.

Demaj claims, however, that this is not the end of the world, and that there is no need for panic, as there is a three-month period that institutions of the Republic of Kosovo must make their efforts to get back there. Demaj also stated that the current minister should not be credited with the state of education in Kosovo, since even if he was at the peak point, it is not his credit, as if he is not even the key factor in this fall Kosovo has experienced.

Otherwise last week, the Kosovar Agency of Accreditation has been excluded from the international organisation Europapean Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education. We remember that the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqiri Bytyqi, had made a decision on 25 September of last year for the dismissal of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (The State Quality Council KSC), as well as the task exercise of the director of this agency.

The decision was made following Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's request, which has also called for the immediate start of procedures for the election of the new board and the AKA director. Prime Minister Haradinaj had made that request by arguing that the process of accreditation in higher education has been conveyed with serious irregularities, while he had asked the minister for the new process to result in the selection of people with proper expertise in the education, ethical and professional sector. The Kosovo Assembly will also hold an extraordinary session tomorrow regarding Kosovo's exclusion from ECAR. /21 Media /
