The collapse of the pedestrian bridge leading to Florida International University has led to a loss of between 6 and 10 people.

According to local authorities, eight vehicles have remained under the ruins of 950 tonnes bridge, and eight people have been transported to hospitals.
A large crane, ambulance, police and firemen have been on the scene to evacuate the wounded.
The bridge was inaugurated on Saturday and had not yet opened to the public.
