The dawn of Venus Morina case is required, even protest

Kosovo Women Network ( S. The GK) urgently calls for adequate justice response in Kosovo over the case of the late Antigona Morina, allegedly the Court in Rahovec has eliminated the complaint filed by the prosecution following the verdict, which has declared the main accused, Hilmi Zeka, innocent.

This network has also warned of a March 23rd protest before the Court's facility in Rahovec.

The women's network through a report sent to the media has demanded that soon the concessions to this case be addressed, since the annihilation of official paperwork is not just disciplinary responsibility, it is a serious act.

“The RGK seeks from Kosovo justice accountability and seriousness in handling these cases in compliance with the demands of the Kosovo Criminal Code, where, in one of the articles, Article 415 is also sentenced to up to 3 years in prison, respectively. We remind you that the deceased died six years ago because of constant bleeding three days after the wedding. Her husband, Hilmi Zena, has, in addition to offering her no medical assistance, exacerbated the situation by continuing to have sexual relations with him”, is said to be among other things in this communiqué.

The RGK again calls on justice institutions -- the Court of Appeals in this case respectively -- to continue the investigation into the case of Aferdita Morina, bringing to justice the alleged author of her death.

The women's network believes that only with fair decisions can justice bodies influence the reduction of violence, respectively.
