A Turkish private plane, on which a group of young women were travelling from the United Arab Emirates to Istanbul, crashed on Sunday, in heavy rain weather, in a mountainous region of Iran, taking the lives of all 11 people aboard, authorities have announced.
Days earlier, the unfortunate plane had transported a group of women to a bachelor party in Dubai, yet it has not become clear who was on the plane when it crashed, reports The Associated Press.
Iranian state television has quoted a spokesman for emergency management organisation instead of saying the plane has hit a mountain, near Corddy's Shahr, and exploded in flames. Cord's Shahr is located about 370km south of Iran's capital, Tehran, records the Express newspaper.
The spokesman, Mojtaba Khaledi, later told a state television portal that local villagers have arrived at the scene of the accident, in the Zagros Mountains, and have found only highly burned bodies and no survivors. He said DNA tests would be needed to identify the dead.
Villagers have said they have seen flares coming out of the aircraft engine before its crash, according to a report by the Iranian state news agency from the justice field, Mizan.
The plane was launched on Sunday afternoon, flying at altitudes of over ten miles [10 km]. After less than an hour, its altitude has increased rapidly, and then it has marked drastic decline within minutes, according to Flight Radar24, a Web site that tracks flights.
The unfortunate carrier has been launched from the International Airport in Sharjah, according to the General Civil Aviation Authority, in the United Arab Emirates. A private company, which manages public relations for the airport, which operates the airline, Air Arabia, has declined to comment. Sharyah is Dubai's next-door favourite.

Turkey's private news agency, Dogan, has identified the plane as Bombardier CL605, with the figure T C-TRB on the tail. Turkey's Transport Ministry has said the plane belonged to a company called Basaran Holding, with which the Associated Press agency has failed to communicate.
Basaran Investment Holding operates in many areas, including food, finance, energy, construction, tourism and travel, according to the company's web site.
Mina Basaran, 28-year-old daughter of Basaran's chief, who is part of the company's management board, and is considered the future business manager, has recently published photographs writer in the InstagramFrom her bachelor party in Dubai.
Among the photographs is also a photo of the inside of the plane published three days ago. Sunday's accident took place less than a month after an Iranian plane, ATR072, with two turbo engines used for regional flights, crashed south of Iran, taking the lives of all 65 on its board. /
