Serbia's Foreign Minister, Slobodan Milosevic's political successor, Ivica Dacic, said today before reporters that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq is being too tolerant of Kosovo's behaviour.
“I would propose to withdraw the signature from the Brussels Agreement”, it is expressed, Coha.net broadcast.
Serbia will not go beyond what is the obligation of all countries, respect its own interests and principles of international law. He will propose President Vuciq withdraw the signing from the Brussels Agreement”, he has indicated.
There is a clause, you signed the agreement... I would withdraw the signature and say (it means our clarification to the Kosovo authorities): You don't want association, and well, we don't want any other agreements, we go back to the beginning, so we return Serbian institutions to Kosovo and Metohija”, has declared Dacic before journalists, adding that he has already proposed to the president (Vuchic) the withdrawal of the signing and that he will still ask for it.
“Appointments with Albanians are serious, much harder they will have them with a Vucinac as it is now, desperate by the international community's stance and confronted with false news that we will recognise Kosovo”, Dacic said, broadcast Koha.net.
Asked by reporters how Vucic reacted following such a proposal, the Serbian diplomacy chief replied that he cannot say that.
But it has not hesitated to accuse Kosovo authorities of non-progressive and incorrect “of manipulation of attitudes during talks with representatives of the international community”.
According to him, Kosovo representatives through the Arab League and other countries of the Islamic Organisation “manipulate that Albanians are Muslims and therefore Muslims should accept Kosovo's independence”, while when visiting Israel, they have told “to open the embassy in Jerusalem and that they would recognise the capital if Israel accepts Kosovo's independence...”.
But the Serbian chief diplomat and Vuciki's ally in Serbia's government has not hesitated to contest the poll results, under which the main blame for Serbia's NATO shelling was Slododan Milosevic.
The one who does not recognise the Serbian people can thus say” has responded when asked by reporters, how they comment on the polls that make Milosevic guilty of NATO bombings 19 years ago.
