Food technologist Milaim Krasniqi has told Indexline that the consumption of meat coming to Kosovo is very harmful, while adding that the consumer is not at all aware of the risks it can take.

“Consumption of this kind of meat imported by some Latin American states and some European states is very harmful to human organization. The Kosovo consumer is little or no news about the dangers posed by this kind of meat. The responsibility rests with the importer and inspectorate, who deals with controlling the meat and its byproducts. Any food product that enters Kosovo customs dots must be controlled by experts in this area”, Krasniqi says on Indexline.
