The Pristina municipality was visited today by a delegation of the Selcuk-Conya municipality, led by Deputy Chairman Ziya Yalcinkaya. The purpose of this visit was to strengthen agreement on the construction of the Down Syndrome and Autism Centre in Pristina with KIK.
President Shpend Ahmeti said that in recent weeks, TEKA and TEKA have agreed to support the construction of this centre.
The Pristina municipality through an announcement sent to the media has indicated that half the money will be given to municipalities and associations, while the other half the Turkish government through KIKA.
“The location is divided near the bus station. In addition to financial assistance, we have sought help in what this center should look like and how it should be managed. Our centre will have some of the main therapies, down to each child's individual treatment”, Ahmeti said, among other things.
Deputy Chairman Yalcinkaya told of the way the Autism Centre operates in his municipality.

I thank all the actors who have taken concrete steps to build a similar centre in Pristina, which we believe will be very successful”, Yalcinkaya stressed.
