In Japan, two virtual currency exchanges have been closed this week, after failing to provide state licenses to operate.
Japan is one of the countries where the sale of Bitcoin and other virtual coins erupted last year, affecting price hikes.
Almost half of the entire global Bitcoin trade took place in Japan last year, reports the CryptoCompare website.
