Beqaj meets Bertoncej, Kosovo-Slovenia co-operation discussed

Co-operation with Slovenia in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as receiving Slovenian expertise in this important sector for economic development and transformation of it into the digital economy, is very important for Kosovo.

So has Minister of Innovation and Undertaking Besim Beqaj said during a meeting with Slovenia's Ambassador to Kosovo Bojan Bertonelj, with whom he discussed possibilities and co-operation between the two states in the field of innovation, and the exchange of important experiences for the Ministry of innovation.

Beqaj expressed interest in support in the area of exchanging Slovenian experiences in the innovation and entrepreneurship sector and obtaining much needed expertise from Slovenia as an EU member state.

“Slovenia has a lot of expertise in the ICT area, and I have taken a pledge from the Slovenian ambassador for inadequate support for transforming our economy into a digital economy”, he said.
