Behgjet Pacolli makes bid for Slovenia

In the presence of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli, and his Slovenian counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carl Erjavec, is signed today in Pristina, the protocol of the first session under the Kosovo-Slovenian Economic Forum.
This protocol aims to boost economic and trade co-operation between the two states. The signing of this protocol is made by Kosovo's representative Guner Ureya and Slovenian side representative Alenka Suhadolnik.
During his presentation to this event, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has stressed that “politics makes sense only if there is support from the sound economy”.
He has since praised the current trade co-operation between Slovenia and Kosovo, meanwhile, has called for further promotions of trade exchanges.
I would like to have even greater economic co-operation with Slovenia. Why not have an only Slovenian Economic Zone”, Foreign Minister Pacolli has said, encouraging Slovenian businesses to consider Kosovo's market.
For his part, Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Carl Erjavec has said economic diplomacy is a very important factor of foreign policy.
According to him, Kosovo is a very important economic partner for Slovenia. “Slovenia remains a major supporter of Kosovo on the European road. Economic co-operation between the two states is very important”, the Slovenian top diplomat has said.
Prior to the signing of this protocol, the chairman of the Kosovo Chamber of Economics, Safet Gerjaliu, and Slovenian Oda's Ante Milovoj have talked about the economic co-operation and the two countries' business goals for the future. /Periscopi/
