Deputs were about to vote the deal with Montenegro when they threw tear gas three times in a row. MPs were then evacuated.
The bill will ratify a border agreement critics argue that unjustly given land to Montenegro, reports “BBC”, report Periscope.
The European Union has said that implementing the bill is a condition for Kosovars to travel visa-free to European countries.
Balkan neighbours like Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia can all travel visa-free since 2010.
The bill must be approved by 80 of the 120 MPs in parliament's chamber, but opposition members of the ultra-nationalist Vetevendosje party say Kosovo would lose 78 square km if the agreement passes./Periscopi/
