By encouraging many women to study STEM science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is the key to education worldwide. But based on statistics, there is still work to be done.
According to the research centre “Pew”, women only 25 % make up computer jobs, and 14% are engineers. In Great Britain, 11% of engineers are women, and this country has the lowest percentage of female engineers in all of Europe.
That is why 16-year-old Dea Kurti has chosen a special way to solve this case.
Kurt helps run a program that sends educational books about encryption, in an effort to spread a passion for flow among young women and to help overcome the gender gap in these industries, reports “BBC”, report Periscope.

They collect STAM codes and books to give to women and girls worldwide.
We do this in the courses of high schools, elementary schools and high schools, as well as places of worship. So far we've built over 50,000 books. We sent books to Albania, Ukraine, the Philippines, India, and Pakistan. ”

Dea's parents had emigrated from Albania in 1999 and she tells her life here. Her stories inspired helping people.
“They were not allowed to have proper education because of their political views. They were not allowed to go to college. When I hear about these stories I want to help,” shows the political situation in Albania.
It also created a website called Guide, which is a source for refugees.
The guide is a website that my friends and I started codeling the diving program in the summer. So the guide is basically some kind of website for refugees who are looking to come to the States. We give them a list of control, which shows all forms and documents. And what they must meet to come to the US,” she added.
