So has Maria Zakharova, head of the Foreign Ministry Information Department in the Federation of Russia, announced through a promotion of it into a Russian public broadcaster.
The Russian reaction comes shortly after it was stressed that the British regulator, Ocom, cannot refresh the state-funded television channel's license, referred to Russia Today.
The Ocom announcement came amid mounting tensions between Great Britain and Russia following the poisoning of a ministry on British soil, Kosovo reports.
According to foreign media, this decision came as Zakharova responded to recent tensions, saying that” nobody should threaten a nuclear power”.
