In his desire during the session, Votel said Moscow plays the role of “fireman and fireman”, fuelling tensions among all parties in Syria, and supporting Bashar al-Assad's regime, which has added difficulties in fighting Iraq's Islamic State and Levant (ISIL).
Votel said Turkey has been “absolutely vital” in the fight against I SIL, beginning that Ankara has taken seriously the concerns caused by “The terrorist PKK”, which has created tensions with many US partners in Syria, reports “Hurriyet”, broadcast Periscopi.
He also said tension between the US and Turkey is a result in the context that Ankara sees the Kurdish People's Protection Unit (YPG) as a terrorist group.
Turkey and the United States have reached a <x0 significance for normalising ties”, Foreign Minister Mevluut Cavuşoglu said on February 16th, announcing the decision on “establishing mechanisms” to resolve the series of ongoing disputes between the two NATO allies./Periscopi/
