Ambassadors will undergo a process of “rocrade” very soon, and the possibility of some remaining out of diplomatic service is not ruled out.
A new name has already been proposed for decree, Koha Ditore writes today.
Government has confirmed the launch of this process.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in support of the legal framework and in close co-ordination with the president and prime minister (Government), has started consultations about the rotating process of ambassadors, general councils and other diplomats, as a large part of them have either met or exceeded the pre-term mandate with the 4-year-old Law, where some of them have served in two mandates and a part of career ambassadors have never served in MP-3x1>, Sami Kastra, the director of Public Communica.
There has been no decision to return, rotation or appointment of new ambassadors”.
