After five attempts to pass this agreement, votes were eventually made and the bill passed. A total of 91 MPs from various parliamentary groups were in the session.
29 is the number of deputies who missed this extraordinary session. Some were deliberately absent, and some ended up in handcuffs by the authorities for tear gas.
In the end, ratification of the border agreement with Montenegro immediately welcomed the country's leaders, foreign representatives, as well as representatives of neighbouring Kosovo countries.
Reaching the agreement paves the way for Kosovo's citizens towards visa liberalisation for travel to the Schengen area, not forgetting the fulfillment of the other condition, that of fighting crime and corruption.
