Orawiecki announced this at a time when the opposition raised questions about expenditures in the Ministry of Defence and high bonus paid to members of the previous government team last year, the AP reports.
Critics say the level of consumption is in line with the conservative ruling party's message.
Morawick did not mention consumption, but stressed that cuts should contribute to consolidation of jobs and improved co-operation. Of 100 deputy ministers, 17 were dismissed, the agency said.
Opposition MPs have said these cuts do not mean much, because most of these people will continue to work in lower positions.
