Macedonia has given four proposals for resolving the dispute with Greece over the name, the prime minister of our neighbour, Zoran Zaev, has said.
“Proposations are the Northern Republic of Macedonia, the Upper Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Macedonia of Vardar and the Republic of Macedonia (Skopje)”, has told Zaev after the London Western Balkans Summit, broadcast Koha.net.
It is reported that he has responded with yes when asked whether Greece will be satisfied with one of these options.
But besides the name of the state, the problem will be the name of national identity as well as the language used by it. For these, Macedonia has said it will not negotiate.
